Starzs Marine & Engineering Limited is a limited liability company incorporated in Nigeria on 28th October, 1992 but commenced operations on 28th October, 2000. Both Nigerian and foreign investors own the company.

Starzs Marine & Engineering Limited is located on 7.47 hectares of land with 210mtrs of waterfront in the Onne Oil and Gas Free Zone, Federal Ocean Terminal, Onne, Nigeria.

Starzs Marine & Engineering Limited is a free zone licencee. The advantages of operating in the Oil and Gas Free Zone include the following;

• Tax Exemption.
• Free import and export duties for goods imported in or exported from the Zone.
• 100 percent repatriation of capital and profit.
• Free foreign exchange regulation.
• 100 percent foreign ownership.
• No pre-shipment inspection for goods imported into the Zone.
• Free expatriate quota in the heart of a buoyant oil and gas activity.
• First class port facilities as well as an efficient oil service centre.
The shipyard being located in the Free Zone enables our clients to take advantage of above facilities.

Principal service presently provided by the Company is ship-repairs of vessels up to 500 tonnes. There is a proposed expansion programme that would enable the yard dock and repair vessels up to 8,500 tonnes and 155m length. The Yard also provides non-ship related engineering works and consultancy services.
